Accessibility Statement 

The Supreme Judical Concil (SJC) is responsible for ensuring the accessibility of the Unified e-Justice Portal for Electronic Justice to the widest possible group of users, regardless of the technologies they use or their abilities. 

The SJC works to improve the accessibility and usability of this site and doing so adheres to established standards and best practices.To meet the requirements and accessibility criteria set by the European Commission regarding public administration websites while keeping pace with current internet technologies, the SJC follows the WCAG 2.0 standards. 

Web Accessibility Initiative

This site aims to achieve an accessibility level defined by the latest World Wide Web Consortium standards - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), applying best practices and techniques. 

WCAG 2.0 explains how to make website content more accessible to people with disabilities. Following these guidelines will help more people feel comfortable and benefit from the advantages of the internet. 

W3C Standards 

The site is designed using code compliant with the W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. It is displaed correctly in currently available Internet browsers and ensuring compatibility with future new or update browsers. 

Exceptions 

While every efforts are made to ensure complaince with current accessibility standards, it is not always possible to achieve this in every aspect. Web Browsers and development techniqnes and access techniques evolve very rapidly, and sometimes some of the standard accessibility requirements become redundant.In this regard, the SJC is continuously technologically developing this site with a view to achieving high standards of accessibility and usability of its content.
